heartbreak

there's nothing sadder than a dog in mexico. there's nothing cooler than a dog in mexico. mexican dogs get to hang on roofs. maybe they have house parties up there like in friends and the secret life of us (yesssssss). but also maybe stuff gets tough. take, for example, this guy here. not the fella having a snooze. the one staring at the wall. oh my god. that is sad. i also remember that day that we got followed by one little dude. he was my friend. i hope he was a friend to the heartbreak kid.

up against the wall

one of the hottest days in london yet. i went to a fair. i saw sleeping owls, nonchalant llamas, fake jousting and a lot of jerk chicken. we ate aforementioned chicken, drank coconut milk, ate icecreams, drank lollies. one member discreetly vomited from the indulgence. anyway. it was hot. on the way back to the station i saw these guys nuding up and showing everyone how summer's really done.

if i remember correctly (unlikely) this was a long day of traveling. from cusco to lake titicaca this one was taken at the border in puno as we traipsed back to our bus. the church was just opposite the passport office where tourists are regularly fleeced for not having the right something. or other. i hope the church see some of that money. but i don't know why.

the inauguration of evo morales

i flew out of la paz on the day of evo morales inauguration. it had the most amazing vibe of hope and promise as crowds of people were converging on the city - pre-obamarama with a socialist twist. here are some of the snaps from the ride to the airport on the day. then we got to watch morales on tv working his pullover charisma. if only i had snaps of that.
